This grave marker which is at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, located at 179 Hackensack Avenue, Hackensack, New Jersey reveals that Thomas J. Reich served in the U.S. Army and died at the age of only 21.
This confirms Thomas J. Reich’s connection to Hackensack by being buried within its borders since
passing and forevermore.
Interesting to note that Thomas J. Reich would have been 18 years old in 1954, just after the conclusion of the Korean War, and died only three years later. I do not know if his untimely death was during his military service at this present time.
